Seeing how it’s 6 months into 2013, I figured it’s the perfect time for a friendship post! So, here’s that. Starring our favourite Burmese, Irene!

I first met Reeni in a densely lit classroom of 20 or less, on my first trimester at PSB, back in September 2009. We were assigned group mates, together with Jess and Maleeha, for Dr Steve’s class.

“Irene Lee.”

A name to a face, which beforehand, had been conveniently cataloged as: that girl in the tank top and print hoodie jacket. That girl with the distinctive accent. Or what I had at then referred to, and now affectionately so, as that chirpy girl with a cyst on her eyelid.
